How long will my logbook take, and what does shipping cost?
Each coil-bound logbook is printed to order and ships within 4–6 business days. Including printing, tracked delivery to the United States takes about 11–15 business days in total (allow up to 20 business days for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). Personalised copies can take up to 5 business days longer while you review and approve your emailed PDF proof. We charge one flat tracked shipping rate of $5.95 per order in the United States (79 kr in Denmark / €9.95 in the EU once EU checkout opens), regardless of how many books are in your order, and orders from $65 (549 kr / €70) ship free. From mid-November to late December, please allow extra printing and transit time.
What is your return and refund policy?
Standard (non-personalised) logbooks carry a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your book. You can withdraw online on our Cancel your order / Fortryd aftale page or by emailing sales@taffrailpress.com, and return the unused book to our address in Denmark within 14 days. We refund the purchase price of the returned book(s) within 14 days; original shipping/freight charges and return postage are non-refundable. See our full Returns and right of withdrawal policy.
Can I return or cancel a Personalised logbook?
Because Personalised editions are custom-typeset and printed with your vessel’s details, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once you have approved your proof (or once printing starts after the 5-business-day proof window). Until your proof is approved, you can cancel a personalised order free of charge. If any book—Standard or Personalised—arrives misprinted, damaged in transit, or with a binding fault, email sales@taffrailpress.com with your order number and a photo and we will reprint it or refund you in full at our expense.
Are Personalised editions and VHF/navigation references included in all 41 logbooks?
Yes—all 41 Taffrail Press logbooks are available in both Standard and Personalised lay-flat Wire-O coil-bound editions (with your vessel’s name custom-typeset on the front cover and running page footers, plus your vessel name, home port, and skipper/owner details on Page 1). All 41 editions also include cited VHF distress procedures (Ch 16 MAYDAY / PAN-PAN scripts), pre-departure checklists, and official safety references. In addition, our 32 regional cruising, waterway, regional fishing, and regional diving editions include region-specific VHF working channels, VTS sectors, bridge and lock clearances, tide stations, and local harbour or anchorage directories.

Yes.
