Shipping costs

Tracked shipping: 79 kr / €9.95 / $5.95, free on orders from 549 kr / €70 / $65.
We charge one flat rate per order, however many books are in it: 79 kr to Denmark, €9.95 to the rest of the EU, $5.95 to the United States. Orders from 549 kr / €70 / $65 (after any discounts) ship free.

Printed to order

Every Taffrail Press logbook is printed and coil-bound for you after you order, by our print partner Lulu, and shipped directly from one of its print sites. It does not ship from Denmark.

Where we ship

Our webshop currently delivers to addresses in the United States only. Customers elsewhere can buy our logbooks on our Etsy shop or on Amazon (Amazon.co.uk for the United Kingdom).

How long it takes

All times are in business days (Monday to Friday, not counting public holidays) and count from the day after you order.

  • Printing: your book ships within 4–6 business days.
  • Denmark and the rest of the EU: delivered in about 16–20 business days in total. Some EU countries are usually quicker.
  • United States: delivered in about 11–15 business days in total. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico: allow up to 20.
  • Personalised copies: allow up to 5 extra business days for your proof.

These are our printer's estimates, not guarantees. From mid-November to the end of December printing can take longer, so please order early for Christmas.

Tracking

Every order ships by tracked mail. We email you a tracking link when your book ships. Tracking can take up to 48 hours to show its first update.

Changing your address

Please check your address at checkout. Your book goes into production the next business day, so email us the same day if anything needs changing. We can't change an address once printing has started.

Late, lost or damaged

If your book hasn't arrived 10 business days after the latest estimate, or arrives damaged, email sales@taffrailpress.com with your order number (and a photo of any damage). We'll reprint it or refund you.

Paperback and hardcover editions are sold on Amazon and follow Amazon's own delivery times.

Where your book is printed and import charges. Our printer sends each order to one of its print sites, normally the one nearest to you. We can't guarantee which site prints a particular order.

  • Deliveries to EU countries (including Denmark): Taffrail Press pays any import charges or customs fees. You never pay them. If a carrier asks you to pay import charges or customs fees, please email us at sales@taffrailpress.com before you pay, and we'll arrange the payment with the carrier or refund you.
  • Deliveries outside the EU (including the United States): any import charges in your country are your responsibility where applicable.
