1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Taffrail Press (CVR 45497305), Høstbuen 69, 2750 Ballerup, Denmark. You can reach us at sales@taffrailpress.com.
2. Products and Print-on-Demand Production
All Taffrail Press logbooks are physical books printed to order through our global print-on-demand production and fulfilment partner, Lulu Press, Inc. ("Lulu"). Product images on our website are digital mockups; minor variations in colour or trim tolerance (up to 2 mm) are normal in commercial print-on-demand production.
3. Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Import Duties
- All prices on taffrailpress.com are shown in US Dollars (USD).
- Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
- Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete checkout.
- Local Regional Dispatch (Zero Customs Duties in the US, EU, Canada & Australia): Orders are automatically routed by Lulu Press, Inc. to the nearest regional print facility — domestically in the United States, inside the European Union (France) for all EU member states (including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Croatia, and Greece), and locally in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom — so deliveries within those regions arrive locally with zero customs stops or import duties.
- Cross-Border Shipments Outside Print Jurisdictions: Only where an order is shipped across an international customs border outside Lulu's local print-plant jurisdictions (for example to Norway, Switzerland, New Zealand, or the Caribbean) do local customs authorities assess any import duties, local taxes, or brokerage/clearance fees upon arrival. In accordance with our shipper Lulu's terms, any such cross-border customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer/recipient.
4. Ordering and Contract Formation
When you place an order at checkout, you will receive an automated email confirmation. A binding contract of sale is formed once your payment is authorised and your order enters production.
